Before you start make sure that you use a pot that fits at least 10 cups of hot water and that you thoroughly rinse your jalapeno peppers and green tomatillos.

Materials

  • 7 Large Jalapenos Remove the stems
  • 8 Medium Green Tomatillos Remove the husks
  • 1 Clove Garlic Optional
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt Optional

Instructions

  • Boil on high heat for 25 minutes.

  • Remove from stove and let cool for 5 minutes and reserve 1 cup of the hot liquid for smooth blending.
