Soak the Raw Almonds in a large mixing bowl overnight. Make sure to place the bowl inside the refrigerator and do not forget to put an air tight lid on it to keep foreign odors away.
After atleast 8 hours of soaking remove the skins of the almonds discard or place in compost.
Make sure to thoroughly rinse your almonds once the skins have been removed.
In your blender add the 4 cups of water and the almonds and blend for atleast 1 minute until you see that there is no lumps. Proceed to put the almond milk through a fine mesh strainer or a nut milk bag to remove all of the almond pulp.
Make sure the pulp does not go thru the mesh or nut milk bag. I usually make crumbled cheese with the left over pulp by adding nutritional yeast, lemon juice and salt and adding them to quesadillas or enchiladas, but you can make other baked goods if you prefer.
