Vegan Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip and Walnut Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

Banana Bread Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 3 1/2 Whole Spotty Bananas
  • 1/2 Cup Plant Based Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Tablespoons Oil
  • 1 Flax Egg
  • 1 Cup Cane Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Almond Extract

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts
  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Turn on your oven to 350F and make a flax egg mixing 1 tablespoon of flaxmeal with 3 tablespoons of water. Proceed to prepare the baking loaf with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl add the bananas and mash them with a potato masher.
  • Measure out the plant milk and add the almond extract along with the oil to the milk.
  • Measure out the dry ingredients then add the mashed bananas, the plant milk mixture and the flax egg.
  • Add the mixture to the parchment lined loaf pan and place in the oven at 350F for 40 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center of the banana bread.
